![]() ![]() I suspect the camera senses the position of the SD card switch and the internal card reader in the camera has a fault. I read on forums that people were sending it back to Olympus for analysis/repair but that's quite costly (as I am only a student) So I don't think it was the slider or the memory card.Īny other suggestions would be nice. It still has the "Write Protect" whether or not I lock or unlock the slider on the memory card. Hopefully it will just be a simple case of flicking it to the unlocked position. Have a look at the memory card, it has a write protect lock slider which prevents the camera from saving information causing it to throw up a write protect error. ![]() I reset my camera (I think it only reset the settings). ![]() Now the battery likes to pop out when you open the battery flap and the camera won't take pictures because there's a warning or sign on the LCD that says "write protect". It hit the floor and the battery popped out and broke the grey piece that held the battery in. I accidentally dropped my Epl1 about 4-5 feet. ![]()
